What We Believe

God is the Creator and ruler of the universe.

God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

God is infinite in His holiness and all other perfections.

Genesis 1:1Genesis 1:26-27 | Genesis 3:22 | Psalm 90:2 | Matthew 28:19 |  2 Corinthians 13:14

Born of a virgin, fully God, and fully man.

Jesus is the one and only Son of God.

He lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sin, resurrected, and ascended to Heaven.

Matthew 1:22-23 | Isaiah 9:6 | John 1:1-5 | John 14:10-30 | Hebrews 4:14 | 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 | Romans 1:3-4 | Acts 1:9-11 | 1 Timothy 6:14-15

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God.

He is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ.

He lives in every Christian from the moment of Salvation.

Allows believers to glorify God by living a holy life and testifying for Christ.

John 16:7-13 | Acts 1:8 | 1 Corinthians 2:12 | 1 Corinthians 3:16 | 2 Corinthians 3:17 | Galatians 5:25

The Bible is God’s Word.

It is inspired by God and without error.

It is the supreme source of truth.

2 Timothy 3:16 | 2 Peter 1:20 | 2 Timothy 1:13 | Psalm 119:105 | Psalm 12:6 | Proverbs 30:5

Salvation is God’s gift to you, if you’ll accept it.

We can never make up for our sin with self-improvement or good works.

Only by trusting in Jesus, as God’s offer of forgiveness, can you be saved from sin’s penalty.

By accepting the free gift of Salvation you are justified, regenerated, redeemed, and adopted into God’s family as coheirs with Christ.

John 14:6 Romans 5:1 | Romans 6:23 | Galatians 3:26 | Ephesians 2:8-9 | Titus 3:5

Baptism should take place after Salvation through immersion.

Baptism is a symbolic representation of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection.

Baptism is a public profession of your faith in Christ and commitment to follow Him.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4 | Mark 1:9 | Matthew 3:16 | Acts 8:36-38 | Acts 2:41

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, true-believers can never lose their salvation.

Salvation is kept by the grace and power of God, not by the efforts of Christians.

John 10:29 | 2 Timothy 1:12 | Hebrews 7:25 | Hebrews 10:10-14 | 1 Peter 1:3-5
