Salvation

IT’S ALL ABOUT JESUS

Everyone has sin in their lives.

  • Sin keeps us from having a relationship with God.
  • The Bible defines sin as going against the standards God has set for us.

Romans 3:23 | Galatians 5:19-24 | John 3:36 | Mark 16:16

Sin must be punished.

  • The result of sin is death. Sin causes us to live a life separated from God.

Isaiah 53:6 | Romans 6:23 | 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 |  James 1:15 |  John 3:3 | Romans 5:12 Mark 16:16 | Luke 13:3

The Good News

  • God provided the only solution for our sin, Jesus.
  • Jesus died on the cross to pay for all of our sin. If we accept Jesus’ free gift, our sins are covered and are forgiven.
  • Jesus gives us hope and a future.

Romans 8:1 |  Romans 8:31-39 | John 10:28 | Ephesians 2:8-10 | John 3:16-17 | Romans 3:23-24 | Romans 5:8 | Revelation 21:4 | Ephesians 2:4-7

Who is Jesus?

  • Jesus is fully God and fully man.
  • Jesus is the Son of God, He lived a perfect life without sin, He was sent by God to serve as the sacrifice for sin, and we have chosen to know, love and follow Jesus.
  • He came to earth born as a baby and grew to be a man.
  • He willingly died on a cross for our sin.
  • He saves us from having to die for our sin because He took the punishment for our sin.
  • He rose from the dead and now lives in heaven.
  • He is the only way to have a relationship with God.

John 1:14 Matthew 3:13-17 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 | Luke 2 | Romans 5:7-8 | Romans 8:34 | 1 Peter 2:24 | Colossians 1:21-22 | Isaiah 53:4-6 2 Corinthians 5:21 | Galatians 1:4 | 1 Peter 3:18 | Acts 1:9-12 Mark 16:19 | Romans 3:21-26

We believe that it’s only through faith in Jesus Christ that a person can be saved.

“If you declare with your mouth ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

— Romans 10:9

And here’s the most comforting thing of all. You don’t have to be perfect.  You just have to be willing to take a step. The decision to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord & Savior is the most important decision you will ever make. We want to celebrate that decision, and walk with you in your faith journey.
