This spring, a team from Green Valley will travel to North Carolina to help with rebuild projects from Hurricane Helene. We’ll be volunteering with NC Baptists on Mission as they continue their recovery efforts in the region. Per their guidelines, this trip is available to anyone 8th grade and older. Once our team is together, we’ll solidify dates and costs.
Green Valley is partnering with Global Effect to serve in communities around La Vega, Dominican Republic. Our team will work in a variety of ways to establish a long-term partnership in the region and support the work of Global Effect. We’re excited to continue our relationship with Global Effect! After a successful build in August 2024, Green Valley is again partnering with What Matters Ministries and Missions to build a house for a widow near Zaragoza, Guatemala. Through this partnership, the widow will receive free food and medical care for the rest of her life. And the house will stay with her family, ensuring an impact for generations! Cost: $1200-$1600, depending on airfare and hotel. Deadline to sign up is April 6, 2025. There will be an optional add-on to Lake Atitlan at the conclusion of the trip. Cost to be determined.
Join us in the Dominican Republic for November Baseball Outreach with Score International. We’ll work with more than 100 players, coaches, and fans to teach baseball to Dominican youth. More importantly, we’ll work with local pastors to share the hope of the Gospel. With morning and evening worship, baseball clinics, and ministry opportunities, this is an impactful trip for your family. All ages are encouraged to attend! Cost: $750 + Airfare!
