We are thrilled to be back on campus for worship, and we pray you’ll be able to join us! As excited as we are about gathering again with our church family, we are also being very cautious about making this a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
If you have experienced any COVID-19-related symptoms in the last two weeks, if you have compromising health issues, or if you’re not quite ready to venture out, please join us for worship online at 10:30 a.m. from the comfort of your home. Know that your GV family loves you and we want to protect you!
Important information about being Together Again for worship on campus:
To ensure adequate social distancing, we are limiting the number of people in the Worship Center at one time. For the safety and well-being of those joining us on campus, we will strategically seat attendees as they enter the worship center, which will, therefore, greatly limit the number of people in each service. Also, for safety purposes you are encouraged not to leave and re-enter the worship center once you are seated. Worship service times are 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each service. Reservations are required so we can best accommodate people safely. Reservations will open each Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. for the next Sunday.
Please follow the distancing requirement throughout the building. Congregate outside of the building if you are comfortable to do so in the open air. Please do not gather in the lobby/commons areas to visit with others before, during or after the service. Individuals will be dismissed by section from the worship center at the close of the service.
Please use entrances/exits that have the external doors propped open for you to enter/exit. All internal church doors will remain open and drinking fountains will be turned off.
For the safety for your children and family, we will not open any area of our preschool or children’s ministry yet. However, both ministries continue to provide programming for your children at the highest level throughout the week. Please make plans to bring your children to the worship service with you. The Family room and Nursing room will be closed.
Unfortunately, it is not possible yet for groups to gather in classrooms due to distancing and space requirements. We are continuing to monitor federal and state guidelines to determine when to begin meeting again.
Portions of the building, specifically worship areas and high-traffic areas, are thoroughly sanitized before, between and after services.
Masks are not required, but should you feel more comfortable using one, please do so.
Stations with hand sanitizers are provided throughout the church.
