    Let your first gift be to God this Christmas.

    Each year we use the month of December to give our first financial gift to the Lord. We hope you will use this opportunity to give in one or more of the ways listed below to further the Gospel and God’s calling on GV.

    General Fund

    The general fund supports all of the operations and ministries of Green Valley allowing us do what God has called us to do. Use this opportunity to catch up on your tithes or give above and beyond.

    Building Fund

    By giving to the Building Fund, you help reduce our debt from our building revitalization project. Your gift supports our vision to create environments that allow for life-change.

    How to Give

    By Check:

    Just write General Fund or Building Fund in the memo line. Then drop it in one of the black offering boxes located conveniently around the church or bring it by the church office.

    Online:

    Visit our giving page. Then you can login or create an account. Select give now, one time donation, and enter your amount. Then select General Fund, World Missions, or Building Fund from the drop down menu. Enter any additional information and submit.

    The Impact

    How your gift impacts the General Fund:

    We want to take a moment and say, thank you! You have been so faithful in giving towards life change this year. Because of your giving, Green Valley has impacted thousands of people within our community, bringing hope and changing lives.
    • Your giving helps create an “exceeding expectations” environment that we hope to leads to life change through Jesus Christ. Your giving helps us open the door for others to experience life change through Jesus.
    • Because of your giving, we have one of the premier childcare programs in our area. The GV Weekday serves over 200 kids and partners with their parents to teach them that Jesus loves them, God is for them, and our church is too.
    • Because of your giving, we are able to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people in our community on a weekly basis. Hosting daily recovery groups like AA and Alanon, distributing food and clothing through our Food Bank and Clothes Closet ministries, serving people in crisis through our Benevolence Fund and more. We also support our local partners: FCA, Sav-a-Life, Urban Purpose, Christian Service Mission, and Alabama Baptist Children’s Home.
    Your giving makes a difference. When you give to Green Valley, your gift does more than just pay the light bill — your gift helps change the lives of others.

    How your gift impacts the Building Fund:

    Each week, our world class facilities enable us to host dozens of groups and hundreds of guests on our campus. We know that people come into our doors with many different past experiences, views, and perspectives about church. That is why we work to create environments, that allow for experiences, that lead to life change.

    Our current facilities were made possible through our 2016 The Best Is Yet To Come building campaign. Now, we are working hard to reduce our $2,497,000 debt and pay off our remaining balance. Consider designating your giving to the building fund and help open doors for more opportunities for greater impact.
