Green Valley Baptist Church

We want to offer our adults the same opportunities as our children and youth. Our Adult Bible study groups enjoy making friends, learning new truths from God’s word, and opportunities to serve both in the church and in community service projects.

 Our adult classes have many opportunities to participate in the activities and ministries of the church. The classes also plan events and service projects for their group to do together.

 Members can choose from the variety of activities, missions, and service projects offered throughout the year.

LifeGroups

Discipleship is designed to train believers to live like Christ. “. . .teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 NIV In Jesus’ Great Commission the disciples are instructed to teach the commands of Christ to those who accept Him as Savior. Learning and obeying the commands of Christ are crucial steps in allowing Christ Lordship in our lives. The courses address specific areas of a person’s life and how the Bible instructs us to reflect Christ. Discipleship courses could be about premarital relations, raising godly children, financial planning, or developing a deeper prayer life. Many of the issues Christians face are covered in discipleship courses. Discipleship Training and Sunday School work together so Christians may follow Paul’s advice to Timothy and, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” II Timothy 2:15 NIV
